Dr. Jo joined our team in July 2023. She graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia in 1993. With extensive experience, she has worked in mixed practice in the Hunter Valley before transitioning to small animal practice on the Gold Coast, in Melbourne, and in Mackay.
Outside of work, Dr. Jo is passionate about Ironman triathlon and Ultra Trail Running. She is also completely devoted to her fur babies, an Aussie Shepherd named Phoebe and a Springer Spaniel named Eva.
Dr Michelle Egan MVB
Veterinarian

Michelle graduated from veterinary science in 2014 and joined the team at Raby Bay Vet in March 2025. With a strong passion for surgery, she has gone on to complete further postgraduate exams and is proud to hold Memberships in Small Animal Surgery with the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.
Michelle thrives on the precision and problem-solving that surgery demands, and she’s dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for her patients - whether it’s a routine desexing or a complex soft tissue procedure.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and diving into all kinds of DIY projects and crafts at home. She shares her life with Harris, a very handsome (and energetic!) German Shorthaired Pointer.
Seeba Hetherington
Team Leader & Veterinary Nurse

Seeba’s love for animals started at a very young age telling her parents she wanted to be a “doggy doctor". She was able to fulfill this passion by studying and working as a veterinary nurse from the age of 17. Seeba has been nursing since 1995 and started her career as an emergency nurse in a 24 hour vet hospital. Seeba enjoys helping animals in need and giving guidance and support to their owners. During her career she has gained a special interest in surgery and orthopedics.
At home, Seeba has a quite few rescued animals including: Ginghi a ginger tabby cat who is missing one eye, a Pomeranian puppy who survived an emergency C-section, a Frenchie surrended due to illness, a conure parrot, and a turtle. In her spare time loves spending it being a mum, fishing, reading, motorbike riding, and keeping active.
Jenna Woodfinden
Veterinary Nurse

Jenna joined the team at Raby Bay Vet Surgery in August 2023 after moving to sunny QLD from Melbourne. She is currently working towards her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing after completing her Certificate II in Animal Studies.
At home Jenna has a beautiful golden Labrador named Obi.

A proud Brisbane local, Ally brings a calm, compassionate presence to the clinic and is especially passionate about providing gentle, stress-free care for every pet she meets.
Outside of work, Ally loves curling up with a good book and hanging out with her best mate Thor - a much-loved pooch who’s never far from her side. She’s also a dedicated pet sitter in the Redlands, caring for everything from energetic puppies to pampered parrots.
